CNC machining is a metal manufacturing method used to remove more than material. It uses sharp cutting tools and can precisely control various shapes and sizes through a computer. This machining method which use the digital information to control the displacement of parts and tools. This comprehensive processing capacity is strong and one of the most widely used in the world,at the same time, it has high machining accuracy and the efficiency is 5 ~ 10 times of ordinary equipment, especially it can complete many ordinary equipment can not complete the processing, the shape is more complex, high precision requirements of single processing or small and medium-sized batch variety production is more suitable.It is an effective way to solve the problems of variable parts, small batches, complex shapes, and high precision, and to achieve high-efficiency and automated processing.
Custom CNC machining processing can be divided into four categories and these four categories are the basic methods of metal forming. Precision CNC machining includes: drilling, turning, milling and grinding.
1. CNC Drilling: Drilling is a cutting process in which the workpiece does not move while the tool move, the tool center is aligned with the hole center and the tool rotates. CNC drilling is mainly carried out on CNC machine tools, including CNC milling machines and lathes. These services produce round holes, usually used for machine screws and bolts.
2. CNC Turning: Ordinary lathe is a more common machine for turning parts. CNC turning is a machining process used to manufacture cylindrical parts. When the workpiece rotates, the tool moves in a linear manner and the rotation is performed on a lathe. The turning process reduces the diameter of the workpiece and is usually used to specify the size and produce a smooth surface of the part.
3. CNC Milling: Milling is the process of cutting metal with a rotating tool. The workpiece is installed on the worktable, which moves or rotates on different planes, so the tool can work at multiple angles.
4. CNC Grinding: Grinding is a method of removing metal by using a grinding wheel called a grinding wheel. The workpiece is finished by grinding, after grinding, the size of the workpiece is accurate and smooth. When grinding the round of workpiece, the workpiece rotates and is fed into the rotating grinding wheel. When grinding the flat workpiece, move the workpiece back and forth while the grinding wheel rotates. The grinding process is to perform cnc processing on the hard workpiece after heat treatment to reach the exact size.
